Register to download CubeSlice
CubeSlice is available in two separate downloads - one that works with Analysis Services in SQL Server 2012 and the other one that works with Analysis Services in SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, and 2008R2. CubeSlice will not work with any other OLAP server. You will need to choose between the two versions on the next screen.
We offer free demos of CubeSlice, both the Creator and Viewer. You can use all the features of these products free for 30 days.
Before downloading, please note system requirements for using our software:
CubeSlice works together with the following Microsoft software:
The CubeSlice Creator can only create local cube files from Analysis Services in Microsoft SQL Server. The following versions are supported:
The CubeSlice Creator uses the Microsoft Office Web Components to view local cubes as they are created. You can design and create local cube files even though you don't have the Microsoft Office Web Components installed on your computer.
The CubeSlice Viewer cannot be used unless the Microsoft Office Web Components are installed on your computer.
The CubeSlice Creator and the CubeSlice Viewer can use the following versions of the Microsoft Office Web Components:
CubeSlice was designed to work with Microsoft's Office Web Components that in the past were provided with Microsoft Office. CubeSlice will still work with the Web Components, for those users who still have them installed. But users with the more recent versions of Microsoft Office will not have them. For users without the Microsoft Office Web Components, CubeSlice still works, but it only works as a local cube generating product. You will not be able to view local cube files inside of CubeSlice.
The CubeSlice Creator and the CubeSlice Viewer can both export views to Microsoft Excel. Excel is also required for printing from CubeSlice views. The following versions of Microsoft Excel are supported:The proper version of the Microsoft OLEDB Provider for Analysis Services must be installed to create and use local cube files. Specifically, the February 2007 version of the Provider must be used in order to view local cubes created from Analysis Services with SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2. This Provider is available as a free download from Microsoft.
Either Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server can be used for the CubeSlice Creator's repository database. If you use Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access is not needed to use CubeSlice.
We recommend a minimum screen resolution of 1024 X 768.
